$1 1925S PCGS MS64+

$1,875.00

In the old days (before slabs) we bet this coin was called a GEM MS65. Its so high end, even we resubmitted seeking an MS65. Its probably accurately graded as a MS64+, but it sure looks swell to us! Not common to a 25S is a full booming luster like this coin has. It looks more like a 26S than 25S. The surfaces are remarkably clean and sleek (just a few cuts can be seen). Both sides are a satiny white. We think the only reason why PCGS won’t designate this a GEM is the strike. While it is above average, if you use a glass you can see minor weakness. Regardless, the details do appear bold. For a 25S, the eye appeal is sensational! PCGS 2006, NGC 1822, CAC 98. PCGS has graded 169 MS64+. We’d bet not many look this good! The last PCSG CAC piece to sell in auction brought $1,880.00 07/2016. Keep in mind, a PCGS/CAC MS65 would cost you at least $20,000.00! This coin WILL be a sensational addition to any MS64/65 set. WE HAVE POSTED THIS COIN AT OUR BEST PRICE!
