50C 1828 SQ BASE 2, SM 8 LG LT PCGS MS65

This is an AMAZING GEM that actually has light prooflike mirrors and is VERY high end quality too!  If it had a + we would not flinch. We really can’t say enough great things about this awesome coin. You can clearly see the semi prooflike surfaces. Besides having mirrors, the surfaces are incredibly clean and smooth.The luster is moderate-but the flash of the mirrors makes up for that. Both sides are evenly covered by a totally original mix of olive/pale blue/golden brown/deep pewter”old time” colors. This is absolutely NOT a dull or drab coin. Miss Liberty and the details are frosty and have crisp pinpoint sharp strikes. The rims especially stand out. The eye appeal is great! PCGS 12, NGC 9, CAC 3. PCGS has graded only 4 coins higher. Hard to believe , NO PCGS CAC  pieces have ever sold at auction. We do not see any published prices that are in reality for this coin.We could see this coin selling for significantly more if it were in an auction to the masses. We do NOT see many Bust Halves in GEM like this! VERY IMPORTANT NOTE: this coin is totally FRESH to the market. This is from a small group we purchased at the end of the ANA Show. Its been off the market for many years-it was not in the any ANA sales.
