50C 1823 PCGS MS65 0-112

$14,500.00

This is one heck of a Bust Half Dollar.  It is the O-112 variety-that has a double struck chin! It is also an unquestionable GEM. Amazing surfaces are just totally impeccable. Even using a strong glass there are zero tiny hidden issues. The surfaces also seem to have a thicker satiny texture. A moderate luster shows off evenly spread around moderate totally original “old time” toning. The colors consist of olive/autumn golden brown/pale rose/pale blue colors. Miss Liberty and the details are so sharply struck the clear doubling of the chin stands out to the naked eye! The eye appeal is wonderful! PCGS 4, NGC 10, CAC 4. PCGS has graded only 4 coins higher. There are NO CAC coins that have ever sold at auction. The last PCGS coin to sell was a NON CAC. It brought only $11,750.00 02/216. We paid much more for our outstanding coin! NOTE: This is a totally FRESH coin to the market and is NOT from any recent auction.
