We know how each date comes. We unhesitatingly rank this coin as a MS64+. PCGS might not, but we do. This date does NOT come so great. Exceedingly clean and satiny smooth surfaces are delightful. A strong luster (for a 74CC) enhances an even moderate and totally original mix of champagne/lilac/gold colors. There are no spots or stains. Most important, the strike is way above average and is virtually full. Typically the eagles right leg is flat-this one is not. The details are also generously frosted. The eye appeal is fantastic! PCGS 21, NGC 9, CAC 5. Sadly, there are NO published prices to relate to this coin. For $14,000.00 you can buy a seriously inferior piece. This coin is closer to MS65.
