We unhesitatingly call this a VERY CHOICE NEAR GEM AU piece.
The surfaces are fairly clean overall. A surprisingly strong luster does show off a few small ticks and lines-that you really need a glass to see. This definitely is not a hacked up coin. Both sides are a strong gold /yellow gold color. There are NO spots or discolorations. Miss Liberty and the details are lightly frosted and have crisp sharp strikes. The wear is very light. The eye appeal is great!
PCGS 3, NGC 31, CAC 2. Do not be fooled by the pops, the mere fact PCGS only has 3 graded after nearly 30 years is powerful proof as to how this coin does NOT come-nice! Opportunity knocks loud here!
