Its been along time since we have had a really nice 26 in MS66 come our way (early 2014 to be exact). This coin is VERY pleasing.
A full booming luster shows off semi satiny like surfaces. There are some superficial tiny ticks and light frost breaks widely scattered. They do NOT detract (we mention for accuracy). Overall, the coin does appear clean. A light original golden/creamy white patina is spread all over. Miss Liberty and the details are frosty and have sharp strikes. The eye appeal is excellent!
PCGS 207, NGC 53, CAC 48. the last one to sell in auction brought $3,760.00 08/2015. if you are VERY picky and like totally original pieces (not dipped), this coin is for you!
