While not an ultra black and white, this coin certainly does have contrast! ANY contrast on 1908 Proofs is VERY rare!
Really deep and dazzling mirrors beam from all over. Only a small lint mark by the trunk of the neck is what keeps this coin from a PR66 CA designation. The mirrors are clean, clear, and do have bold reflectivity. There is a really light original lilac/gold hint of color. Miss Liberty and the details are sharply struck and thick frost. The eye appeal is excellent!
ONLY 545 were minted. PCGS 4, NGC 6, CAC 2. This is amazing: the last time ANY PCGS PR65 CA sold: back in 2010! Even in PR 66 the last one sold in 2012. These are certainly NOT readily available! Opportunity knocks as loud as it ever will here!
