G $1 1859 PCGS MS66+ EX SIMPSON

This is a VERY pleasing piece. In our very strong opinion, it represents great value too!

Only with a really strong glass can you detect (after some looking around) a few small frost brakes and a tiny toning dot. There are no hits or scratches so commonly seen. The surfaces are satiny and have super smooth texture. A strong glowing luster shows off the even original gold colors. Miss Liberty and the details are frosty and do very much stand out. The eye appeal is neat!

PCGS 5, NGC 5, CAC 5. PCGS has graded possibly TWO MS66+ pieces and 4 coins higher-including the death defying MS68+ that replaced this coin in the Simpson Collection. We think a coin like this being valued at so much LESS then $10,000.00-is a bargain. Don’t let the pop reports fool you-these are impossible to locate in SUPERB GEM!
