25C 1881 PCGS MS67

When GH saw this coin he was floored. He really loved it! We don’t see immediate reactions from him as strong as this very often (he is highly critical). All we can say, this coin is 100x greater then any coin labeled superior! At the very least it deserves a + (we’re sure it was submitted by its previous owner).

If this coin was in a MS68 holder, we would not flinch. First, this coin has ZERO imperfections of ANY size, ANY where. The surfaces are also smooth. A moderate luster enhances the totally original deeper but vibrant colors of green/purple/violet/gold/champagne that swirl all over. Miss Liberty and the details are frosty and have exceptional strikes. The eye appeal is beyond fabulous!

PCGS 7, NGC 11, CAC 4. Hard to believe we found NO records of ANY PCGS CAC piece ever selling at auction. Even if there had been price, it really would not have mattered. Put this coin in auction and it would easily be the subject of a bidding war!
