The original thicker colors on this GEM are different then what you normally see. Mother Nature did a great job here. The coins quality is VERY high end! !
To start, the surfaces are PERFECT-even when using a really strong glass. They have a satiny texture too. A light luster enhances the thicker navy/pale green peripheral colors which open into golden brown/champagne centers. All the colors are original. Miss Liberty and the details are frost and are needle sharp in strike. The eye appeal is really nice!
PCGS 40, NGC 33, CAC 8. This is NOT a commoner coin at all-especially looking so marvelous. The last one to sell in auction brought $$1,184.00 01/2015 (a weaker auction).; This is not only a great coin to place in a set, buts its great too look at all day!
