What a coin! If this were any other metal, with such high end quality, we would be talking much more money. GEM Copper like this is SO UNDERvalued (in our opinion).
This piece is more then worthy of the title “finest known”. It has real unbroken mirrors. You can see the clarity, cleanliness easily due to the strong reflectivity. There is one tiny toning dot, other wise this coin is spots free. Both sides are a very GEMMY brown with clear hints of GEM ORIGINAL Mint Red. Miss Liberty and the details are needle sharp in strike. The eye appeal is fabulous!
Estimated LESS then 12 were minted. PCGS 1, NGC 0, CAC 1. This is the ONLY PR65+BN graded by PCGS with NONE higher. Prior to 2015, this coin has NO auction record. We can not over state the extreme rarity of this piece. As we mentioned before, if this was silver, it would be worth over $75,000.00 easy. Opportunity knocks so loud for any PR Large Cent Collector or for someone who just buys smart great coins!
