This wonderful piece is only one small scuff away from being a full MS65 and worth $40,000.00+!
The scuff is not huge and is in the left obverse field. The balance of the surfaces are smooth and are fairly clean (save for a few light frost breaks). Both sides are a pretty yellow gold. There are NO spots or discolorations. Miss Liberty and the details are frosty and have sharp strikes. We grade the reverse full MS65. The eye appeal is really nice!
PCGS 78, NGC 58, CAC 15. The last one to sell in auction brought $10,575.00 and was not as flashy as this coin. Opportunity knocks loud here!
