We have always loved this date and grade. Sadly a few too many have been graded 66 that should not be. If those did not exist, this coin would be worth over $10,000.00 easy! This coin definitely has its own legs!
If you really look hard and inspect the surfaces with a strong glass, you will there are ZERO imperfections of ANY size, ANY where. The surfaces are also satiny smooth and have a good luster. Both sides are evenly covered by swirling colors of original golden brown/green/pale violet/olive/rose. All of the details are sharply struck do stand out clearly. The eye appeal is really nice!
PCGS 26, NGC 15, CAC 16. The last one to sell in a major auction brought $7,638.00 02/2015. In the past two years we have seen these sell from $7,300.00 to $12,900.00. Opportunity knocks for sure here!
