This is a bold GEM RD piece! Typically these come dull and more red brownish. This coin is not!
Immaculate surfaces are really just that. Even using a strong glass you’ll only find 2 or so hidden toning dots. A really strong luster enlivens the GEM original MINT RED color. Lincoln and all of the details are sharply struck and do stand out. The eye appeal is excellent!
PCGS 48, NGC 15, CAC 5. The last PCGS 65RD to sell in a major auction brought $3,290.00 04/2014. The current Collectors Universe Value is $4,500.00. This coin is very high end!
