50C 1840 REV 39 PCGS MS65

We can not find what ever PCGS did to keep this coin only an MS65. We grade it a full MS65+ (no promises it will ever go up).

Outstanding surfaces are super satiny and are smooth. Only with a really strong glass can you find a tiny contact mark or two-well hidden. A glowing luster shows off the beautiful and original deep champagne/gold/light lavender mix. This coin is NOT dull or crusty. Miss Liberty and the details are fully struck and do stand out. The eye appeal is wonderful!

PCGS 6, NGC 13, CAC 4. The last PCGS CAC coin to sell in auction brought a whopping $21,150.00 08/2013. The current Collectors Universe Value is $14,000.00. GEM MS Seated coins like this have fallen some in value. At these levels we see nothing but strong opportunities! We can’t stress enough how great of coin this is.
