We have handled the long MS68 of this date (in the Law/Simpson set we built). This coin really IS that close. Outrageous surfaces are both satiny and have semi-prooflike tendencies. There is not a single mark to be found-even if using a microscope! Both sides enjoy a lavish mix of totally original and beautiful shades of blue/pale green/pale champagne/pewter colors. Miss Liberty and the details are frosty and have crisp sharp strikes. You do not need a glass to the overdate! The eye appeal is spectacular!

PCGS 5, NGC 4, CAC 2. This is the ONLY PCGS MS67+. PCGS has graded one higher-the coin impounded in the Law/Simpson set we built. We also know for a fact, this coin offered here is totally fresh to the market and has never been sold at auction. The current Collectors universe Value is $10,000.00-which seems a bit low. We paid $35,000.00 for the MS68! Regardless, if you are building a killer Half Dime set, this is a “must have”.
