We fell in love w/this coin as soon as we saw it! it has everything going for it! The quality really is VERY high end.
The mirrors are really deep and beam from everywhere. Plus, they are crystal clear, are ultra clean, and intensely reflective. The mirrors look like a freshly made sheet of glass. A stunning circular crescent of original forest green/plum/pale navy/gold colors accents the obverse and cover the entire reverse. Miss Liberty and the details are frosted and have needle sharp strikes. The eye appeal is heart pounding!
Only 813 were ever minted. PCGS 9, NGC 21, CAC 7. Forget about any PCGS CAC being auction recently, no PCGS examples at all have been auction since 2012! The current Collectors Universe is $8,000.00.
