Superb! We shake our heads in amazement how this coin has survived not only 151 years in such condition-but it out lasted the Civil War!
Fantastic surfaces are slightly satiny and are clean overall. Only with a strong glass can you find any minor lines/contact marks. A surprising strong luster shows off wonder ‘old time” original colors of faded olive/blue/gold/golden brown that are spread all over. Miss Liberty and the details are razor sharp in strike and really stand out. The eye appeal is GEMMY plus!
PCGS 6, NGC 7, CAC 2. The last PCGS CAC piece to sell in auction brought $8,519.00 08/2013 Heritage. You certainly are not going to see these appear in many auctions or at many shows!
