We plucked this coin from an “old time” original deal. It has real colors you can see with out twirling the coin. ANY Peace Dollar with real color is VERY rare!
First, the technical quality is all these. Only with a strong glass can you see a few very teenie ticks. The surfaces do emit a strong luster. Elegant shades of moderate pearl green, sea green/gold/pale violet/purple colors swirl all over. You can clearly see all of the surfaces and the sharply struck details. The eye appeal is gorgeous!
The value in this coin is the fact it is beautifully toned. So comparing it to a typical white piece won’t work. All we can say is, be glad we did not put this piece in our next auction!
