Hard to see any real wear with the naked eye. We normally do not buy coins like this, but it looked really good and the price was right.
The wear is super light and you really need a glass to see it. We’ve seen worse called MS61’s. The surfaces are exceptionally clean and smooth. Both sides are an even deeper gold color. There are NO spots. All of the details are well struck. The eye appeal is very nice!
PCGS 118, NGC 518, CAC 43. The last auction record we could find was for one from FUN 2015 for $4,230.00-and we all know that was a very depressed sale! Prior to that they were selling for $4,700.00 to $5,000.00 in 2014 auctions. The current Collectors Universe Value is $5,900.00.
