What a gorgeous coin this is!
A thin band (a mini crescent) of totally original blue/violet/amber colors frames the obverse rims only. The balance of the coin is an intense silvery white. The surfaces are what you expect for an MS68: intensely lustrous and VERY clean. Even the overall condition of the cheek will impress the pickiest of buyers. Miss Liberty and the details are frosty and have crisp full strikes. The eye appeal is phenomenal!
PCGS 115, NGC 239, CAC 65. The last auction record we could find for one of these was only $4,112.00 08/2014 Heritage. That coin was not as pretty as this one (an NGC CAC piece brought $4,994.00 01/2015). Plus, the current Collectors Universe value is $5,900.00.
