Outrageous quality and color. This coin is slightly better (and more colorful) then the Simpson coin which just sold at auction.
After using a strong glass all we could see is one teenie hidden tick that keeps this coin from an MS67 designation. An intense booming luster shows off exceptionally clean and satiny surfaces. Intense splashes of totally original auburn/green/olive/gold/blue/purple colors are spread all over. Miss Liberty and the details are frosty and have crisp sharp strikes. The eye appeal is dazzling!
PCGS 8, NGC 7, CAC 6. PCGS has graded only 2 coins MS66+ (the Simpson coin is the other). The Simpson coin brought $3,760.00 in Legends December 2014 Sale. If you buy only monster coins, then this piece is clearly for you!
