This is an extremely nice and HIGH END $5 Indian!
We think this coin did not make a full MS65 because it has a few too many light lines (which you really can only see with a strong glass. The surfaces are smooth and do appear clean. A strong luster shows off even deeper gold color. There are NO spots or discolorations. All of the details are frosty and have crisp strikes. The eye appeal is great!
PCGS 449, NGC 360, CAC 51. PCGS has graded only 35 coins in MS64+. The last one to sell in auction brought a whopping $5,581.00 03/2014 heritage. Obviously the market has come down a bit since then. Still a PCGS MS65 CAC coin would easily cost $13-$15,000.00-if you could ever find one!
