10C 1902 PCGS PR67

This coin is nothing less then a SUPERB GEM!

Typically, this date comes dull and crusty. This piece is superb in every respect. Superior deep mirrors are crystal clear, clean, and have bold reflectivity. The obverse has a beautiful mix of original pale gold/champagne/silver colors while the reverse has clearly been laying on felt and has developed a great blue/green coloration. Miss Liberty and the details are fully struck. The eye appeal is fantastic!

ONLY 777 were minted. PCGS 8, NGC 13, CAC 5. The last one of these to sell in major auction brought $4,700.00 02/2013 heritage. It is important to note that even in today’s crazy upside down market where commoner dates now sell for next to nothing, the 1902 not only has held its value but actually has prospered. This date and grade are absolute “stoppers” for the series. Plus, they are non existent in Cameo. This coin represents one heck of an opportunity!
