Multiple WOW factors here! Stunning deep-pretty much ultra deep mirrors have only a scattered microscopic planchet tick or two and a stray line or two (if using a strong glass to view). The mirrors look like a freshly formed sheet of ice. A monster band of iridescent navy/magenta colors frames the peripheries on the obverse and most of the reverse. Miss Liberty and the details are fully struck and have thick bright frost. The eye appeal is jaw dropping!
ONLY 510 were ever minted. PCGS 2, NGC 4, CAC 4 (this coin is 2x). This is the ONLY PR66+. PCGS has only graded one coin-a PR67 CA higher. Keep in mind, that’s after 26+ years of operations. This coin has never appeared in auction. A PR66 CA (not +) last sold for $4,888.00 08/2011 heritage. This coin is a “must have” for the serious Dime collector.
