You know we buy all the Early Gold we can-ONLY when the pieces are nice and are worthy of a CAC bean as well. In 2014 we have not been able to buy much due to an extremely limited supply. When we first saw this piece we were immediately smitten.

We will tell you this piece was ever so slightly dipped LONG ago and has come back really nice. The surfaces are clean overall. With a strong glass all you can find a few microscopic pin pricks and minor contact marks. There is a moderate luster. The colors are a rich gold by the peripheries that opens into a bright yellow gold center.There are NO Spots or discolorations. Miss Liberty and the details are well struck and have even light wear. The eye appeal is fabulous!

PCGS 16, NGC 12, CAC 8. The last one to sell in auction was a PCGS NO CAC piece. It brought $21,150.00 08/2014 Stacks. Even in AU 58, NONE have been sold at auction since 2004! You definitely will NOT see many fo these ever offered with any frequency!
