This is only the second example for the date we have ever owned in our 40 year career. The rarity of this date can not be overstated. Being the “secret copper weenies” we are, when we saw this coin we had to own it!
HIGH END. This coin is struck on a problem free planchet. The surfaces overall are smooth and clean. The color is a rich and totally original brown. There are NO spots or discolorations on the high points. The wear is even and is light. Miss Liberty and the details are well struck and do stand out. This is NOT a crusty or ugly coin at all. The eye appeal is excellent plus!
PCGS 6, NGC 2, CAC 2. How do you put a value on date and grade that has hardly ever traded? This coin has everything going for it, QUALITY, pedigree, and freshness to the market (its been away at least 50 years)!
