Just a few light lines in the right field keep this coin from a full MS66 designation. The surfaces are slightly semi-prooflike yet have a satiny smooth texture. A full booming luster enhances the totally original circles of blue/golden brown that open into light reddish gold centers. Miss Liberty and the details are frosted and have full standout strikes. The eye appeal is marvelous!
PCGS 1, NGC 0, CAC 1. This is the ONLY 65+ and the finest graded at PCGS. NGC has graded an MS66. There are only two MS64’s graded-and the last appearance of one in auction-1999! The current Collectors Universe Value is only $25,000.00. We can’t see a single reason why this gorgeous beast of a 168 year old GEM isn’t worth at least $40,000.00!
