What a killer GEM Large cent. We found no special pedigree on it. The quality is ridiculously high end!
Pristine surfaces have NO flaws of ANY size, ANY where. Not even pinpoint toning dots can be seen-save for one at 6:00 on the obverse. The color is about 40%+ GEM ORIGINAL MINT RED. The balance is alight totally original chocolate brown color. Miss Liberty and the details are exceptionally struck. The eye appeal is tremendous!
PCGS 6, NGC 4, CAC 7 (this coin maybe 2 CAC beans). PCGS has graded only one coin higher-a MS65+. The last time this coin sold, it was in an OLD NGC holder. It bought $3,220.00 09/2008 Heritage. In 02/2014 another example brought $5,200.00. This piece offered here has been off the market with our customer since 2011. For sure, this SUPER HIGH END beauty is 100% Legend quality!
