25C 1806/5 PCGS MS64 EX GARRETT

$66,500.00

What a remarkable “old time” GEM! You can tell this coin has been carefully stored since it was minted.

Surprisingly smooth and clean surfaces are clearly visible. You can use a strong glass and look really hard-you will find few minor ticks or any problems-even using a strong glass. A light to moderate luster shows off even and totally original deeper pewter/faint gold colors. Miss Liberty and the details are extra sharp in strike and do stand out. The reverse really looks MS65 to us. The eye appeal is fantastic!

PCGS 3, NGC 2, CAC 2. Prior to this coin, none have been sold at auction since 2009. There is only one MS65 graded and one MS65+. This is is a date and grade you certainly will NOT be seeing in any frequency as time goes on.

Note: we just paid $176,250.00 at the ANA auction for the 1806/5 PCGS MS65+ EX Newman coin-which was an NGC MS66 originally. Also, the coin sold for $152,750.00 in the original Newman sale. These coins really are THAT rare! We can NOT stress enough the great opportunity offered here.
