$10 1857S PCGS AU58

WOW! For a No Motto date from the 1850’s, this coin is really a SUPERB GEM AU! it is a true borderline MS piece.

At first glance this coin does look fully Mint State. Only with a strong glass can you detect very light stray lines and a few teenie ticks. The wear is incredibly light and is NOT discolored. A surprising strong luster shows off beautiful totally original deep gold colored surfaces. This coin has never been messed with nor is it a “dirty” toned piece. Miss Liberty and the details are frosty and do have exceptional strikes. The eye appeal is pretty awesome!

PCGS 2, NGC 6, CAC 1. This coin is the highest beaned at CAC. Also, PCGS has graded possibly only 6 pieces higher. Prior to this coin, NO PCGS pieces have ever been sold at auction. There are NO PCGS coins graded until MS62 after this. We can NOT stress enough the great rarity of this coin. We think its cheap at today’s values-try finding the other one (and its not CAC)!
