Originally this coin was a NGC PR67 Cameo. Oh well. PCGS was stubborn and just would not cross it. Now it really looks like a PR66.9+ intense cameo!
Ultra deep, crystal clear, super clean, and intensely reflective mirrors beam from all over. This is NOT a dipped and retoned coin. The mirrors look like a freshly made sheet of ice. A stunning and totally ORIGINAL ring of neon like royal blue/violet frames the rims all over. Miss Liberty and the details are sharply struck and have gorgeous thick white frost. The eye appeal is totally jaw dropping!
ONLY 800 were ever minted. PCGS 5, NGC 10, CAC 3. PCGS has graded NONE higher. This coin sold in Newman for $11,750.00. We can’t keep everything forever! This is a killer coin that deserves a great home.
