We bought this coin from a major “crackout”dealer who was trying for a MS65. We agree-64+ is right.
Overall, the surfaces are extremely clean and sleek. Only with a strong glass can you see a few dings hidden in the right field. A really strong luster illuminates the totally ORIGINAL creamy white/faint gold that is spread ll over. Miss Liberty and the details have an above average strike. The eye appeal is very pleasing!
PCGS 133, NGC 92, CAC 17. PCGS has graded 11 coins MS64+. The last one to sell in auction -WAS THIS COIN. It brought $8,813.00 09/2012 Heritage! Since it won’t MS65, the price is now much more reasonable! NOTE: The last PCGS MS65 CAC to sell in auction brought $22,325.00 in 2013.
