This coin is awesome and then some!
Deep-and nearly ULTRA deep mirrors explode from all over. They have remarkable clarity and reflectivity. Only with a strong glass can you find a light and scattered line or two. To the naked eye all you will see are deep “watery/liquid mercury” like mirrors that you will want to twirl all day. The cameo contrast is stunning. There is NO toning on this coin. Miss Liberty and the details are sharply struck and have thick frost. The eye appeal is just jaw dropping!
ONLY 700 were ever minted. PCGS 19, NGC 25, CAC 9. The last auction record we have for one of these selling is from 02/2013 Heritage. That coin sold for $4,113.00. We highly doubt that coin or few others look like this piece! Next step up would cost at least $15,000.00-if you can even find one (and it too probably will not look like this coin).
