We have seen numerous examples of this date and grade we did not like over the last few years. The last one Legend has owned (or even brokered) was back in 2007. Maybe we just have tighter standards for these!
From across the room you can see this coins full booming luster. The surfaces overall are clean and are sleek. The reverse has one or two teenie ticks. No question this coin is ORIGINAL nickel color and has never been messed with. There are NO spots. All of the details are frosty and have super sharp strikes. The eye appeal is fabulous!
PCGS 139, NGC 165, CAC 24. The amount that have been CAC’d in MS65 so far sort of confirms how tough it is to find nice and original examples. The last PCGS CAC piece that sold in auction brought $2,530.00 06/2013 Goldberg. A NON CAC PCGS piece just sold for $1,880.00 02/2014 Heritage. We know we are offering this coin at a really fair price!
