Unquestionably this coin is 100% totally ORIGINAL all over. The surfaces are smooth and are ultra clean. There is a strong luster. In fact look really hard with a strong glass-there are ZERO imperfections. A thin band of reddish gold frames parts of the rims and opens into pewter/deep silvery centers. All of the details are frosty and are well struck. The eye appeal is great!
PCGS 327, NGC 260, CAC 86. PCGS has graded 11 in MS67+. The last PCGS CAC piece to sell in auction brought $1,527.50 10/2012 Heritage. Do not let the pops fool you, this is a tough coin to find in the higher grades.
