25C 1914 NGC PR67 EX ERIC NEWMAN

Yes, we admit we tried this coin 2x for a cross. We are adamant we think it should cross. We think PCGS just does not like the slightly mottled toning (which looks fine). As many of you know (no surprise), unless its a more expensive coin cross overs on Newman pieces have been very hit or miss. We really do like the quality here.

Deep mirrors are crystal clear, have amazing cleanliness, and offer powerful reflectivity all over. Both sides are evenly covered by a beautiful and totally ORIGINAL mix of olive/golden brown/blue/pale violet colors. Miss Liberty and the details are needle sharp in strike and stand out. The eye appeal is VERY nice!

ONLY 380 were ever minted. PCGS 14, NGC 17, CAC 5. We did NOT buy it out of the Newman Sale. At the sale, it brought $4,406.00-which is sightUNSEEN money for ANY CAC PR67 Barber Quarter Proof. There is NO question to us, this coin represents tremendous value at today’s levels.
