50C 1829 PCGS PR65 EX NORWEB

What and out of this world AMAZING GEM! Many people ask-did was the Mint really able to make true Proofs back in the early 1800’s? This coin clearly proves with out a doubt-YES! We have seen the NGC PR 66-and unhesitatingly rank this coin as far superior and probably the FINEST known for the date!

FULL deep mirrored surfaces will NOT be mistaken as being semi-prooflike or so/so. These mirrors have real clarity and intense reflectivity. There are NO problems anywhere. Only with a really strong glass can you detect a few light scattered lines (MOST of the lines you see actually are on the holder). A gorgeous totally ORIGINAL thin band of blue/magenta/gold frames the rims only. Miss Liberty and the details are pinpoint sharp in strike and do have thick frost. We actually are a little surprised this coin is not graded a Cameo. The eye appeal is incredible!

ONLY 10 pieces were known to have been minted. That’s as rare as any 1804 $1, 1894S Dime, or a 1838O 50C. PCGS 1, NGC 2, CAC 1. We believe at least one of the NGC PR65’s is possibly the NGC PR66. We do assure you, this coin is BETTER then the NGC PR66. Again, we highly doubt there is a finer 1829 PR Half.
