When we call a coin ULTRA high end, we are NOT hyping it. We are stating a fact on how we see the grade. We are usually pretty strict graders too! This coin is simply incredible. PCGS at the very least should have graded it 65+. Can’t see why they did not. They are just crazy tight on earlier GEM copper!
To add to the speech on this coins quality: it has amazing deep, crystal clear, clean, and surprisingly reflective mirrors. While not deep like a 1856 PR Dime, the mirrors are strong and look like a freshly formed sheet of glass. Both sides are a gorgeous totally ORIGINAL mix of pale brown/gold/baby blue colors that swirl all over. Miss Liberty and the details are needle sharp in strike and stand out with light frost. The eye appeal is tremendous!
ONLY 238 were ever minted. PCGS 13, NGC 8, CAC 7. The last one to sell in major auction brought $8,812.00 11/13 Heritage. Just imagine how much this coin would be worth if it were silver. What a great deal this represents. Our coin is fresh to the market!
