H.01 1843 RESTRIKE REV 1856 PCGS PR65BN MISSOURI

$17,500.00

Yet another totally AWESOME Proof Half Cent. You will not be disappointed with this HIGH END GEM!

This coin was love at first sight to us. We love the fact it actually has deep, clear, clean, and highly reflective mirrors. How many coins from 1843 do you ever see with real mirrors? The Goldberg description mentions some hidden microscopic issues, we can assure you-you need a strong glass and to look hard to find them! here is a partial description from the catalog: “Light olive brown with rose and blue steel toning in protected areas and traces of mint red remaining on both sides. The fields are nicely reflective with moderate to deep mirrors on the obverse, the reverse mirrors not quite as deep as the obverse. There are some clouds of lighter toning on both sides, a spot of glue on the rim over the second S in STATES, and a small stain on the rim at star 5.” We’d like to add the details are pinpoint sharp in strike and do boldly stand out. The eye appeal is awesome!

It is estimated that LESS then 30 were ever minted. PCGS 4, NGC 0, CAC 2. The last record for one ever selling in auction was back in 2005! Back then that coin brought $7,475.00 Stacks. We do not know of any being sold since then.

We can not stress enough what a tremendous opportunity a coin like this represents for any PR half Cent or copper collector.
