What a remarkable coin! We have no idea how it has survived in such awesome condition for over 156 years.
Only one this small line keeps this piece from being a full MS68! Overall, the surfaces are satiny and are super clean. A strong luster shows off super and totally ORIGINAL pale orange gold color. There are NO spots or discolorations. Miss Liberty and the details are exceptionally struck and have light frost. The eye appeal is remarkable!
PCGS 4, NGC 0, CAC 1. There have been NO PCGS CAC pieces sold at auction. The only reason we could buy this coin-we replaced it with the lone MS68! You are NOT going to ever see many of these appear.
