We are pleased to have purchased this seldom seen date and grade. It is a totally ORIGINAL coin.
We stress this coins originality because so many have been dipped or played with. The surfaces have a few scattered thin scuffs you can only see with a glass. They do appear clean overall. A decent luster shows off deeper ORIGINAL gold/pale orange gold colors. Miss Liberty and the details are sharply struck and stand out. The eye appeal is excellent!
PCGS 26, NGC 29, CAC 7. The last one of these to sell in major auction brought $5,175.00 01/2011 Heritage. Not one in auction selling in last 3 years? That definitely is NOT common in our book!
