We do know this SUPERB Saint was tried for an MS65+. Obviously it did not win the + lottery that day. Its still a VERY high end good looking piece!
Superb satiny surfaces are surprisingly clean. You need a very strong glass and some time to find even the most microscopic tick. A bold booming luster shows off gorgeous light ORIGINAL two tone gold/yellow gold colors. There are NO spots or flecks. Miss Liberty and the details are frosty and have exceptional strikes. The eye appeal is BOLD and beautiful!
PCGS 475, NGC 253, CAC 44 (with just 6 higher). The last 11S in MS65 PCGS CAC to sell in auction brought $6,038.00 09/2013 Goldberg as the one before it brought $6,325.00 1/2012 Heritage. Do not let the pops fool you, these are not easy coins to locate!
