Took us all of 2 seconds to buy this great piece. Love the total ORIGINALITY.
Superior surfaces are super clean and have only the lightest and tiniest of OLD ticks scattered about. Some original luster remains. Both sides have light ORIGINAL toning (the coin does not look “dirty”). The color is a deep gold-and there are NO spots. Miss Liberty and the details are sharply struck. All wear is light. The eye appeal is terrific!
PCGS 83, NGC 245, CAC 8. Much to our surprise, this is the ONLY AU55 we have ever owned. We could not find ANY record of a PCGS/CAC piece ever selling at auction. The last PCGS NON CAC piece sold at auction brought $3,819.00 04/2013 Heritage.
