We adore these pieces-especially when they look like this one!
You can tell this coin has sat somewhere fully protected possibly for the last 86 years. There are NO marks or problems of ANY size, ANY where. The surfaces just can’t be any more virgin looking. Both sides have a decent luster that shows off ORIGINAL silvery white surfaces. Miss Liberty and the details are very well struck. There is some minor weakness in two rivets in the shield-but that looks to be how it was struck. The eye appeal is fantastic!
PCGS 75, NGC 44, CAC 9. The last one to sell in a major auction brought $2,465.00 06/2013 Stacks. A PCGS NON CAC piece just sold for $2,232.00 Heritage. Do not let the pops fool you, finding NICE unmessed with examples like this is nearly impossible!
