There is NO pitting is on the planchet. The surfaces have an extremely tick or two scattered around-which you need strong glass to see. The color is a totally GEM ORIGINAL even chocolate brown. There are NO spots or PVC issues. Miss Liberty and the details are very well struck and do stand out. The eye appeal is tremendous for a 219 year old copper piece!
PCGS 33, NGC 9, CAC 4. The last one to sell in a major auction was a PCGS NON CAC piece-that brought $4,700.00 04/2013 while another piece brought $7,050.00 01/2103 Stacks. Do NOT be fooled by the appearances, these do NOT show up at shows or auctions with frequency! What a cool coin!
