This coin gets a much deserved YOWZER! It is incredibly HIGH END and just misses a rare cameo designation!
Only if you look really hard with a really strong glass will you find a partial light line or two that are all we can see holding this coin back from a PR67 designation. The mirrors are ULTRA deep, have amazing clarity, are clean, and have nearly blinding reflectivity. They have that ultra “watery/liquid mercury” look. Miss Liberty and the details are needle sharp in strike and do have strong silvery white frost. We all have seen lesser coins called cameoes. The eye appeal is not only nearly blinding, but is spectacular!
ONLY 727 were ever minted. PCGS 22,NGC 26, CAC 6. The last one to sell in a major auction brought a whopping $5,175.00 08/2012 Stacks. The coin offered here was purchased by us from a very picky collector.
