We are pleased to offer one of the finest graded examples of this date. We unhesitatingly call it a GEM AU.

The surfaces are surprisingly clean and smooth. The few trivial ticks you see were made long ago-and do NOT stand out (you need a strong glass to find and see them). Also, a surprising amount of ORIGINAL luster remains. Both sides are a deep ORIGINAL pewter/pale navy with hints of golden brown color. Miss Liberty and the details are exceptionally struck. The eye appeal is OUTSTANDING!

PCGS 3, NGC 3, CAC 2 (possibly this coin 2x). The last coin to sell in major auction brought $18,975.00 back in 08/2011 Goldberg. An AU55+ (NOT THIS COIN) brought $21,850.00 09/2011 Goldberg. A lot has happen (or dried up ) since 2011! We can not stress enough the rarity of a coin like this. Plus, we can’t stress enough how impossible it is to find SUPERB GEM AU’s that are CAC’d!
