Finding S Mint Walkers in the 40’s in real SUPERB GEM is much harder then you think. If its not the strike, then is the right field, or the luster, etc. When we saw this coin, we knew it was all there and then some!
Marvelous surfaces show off practically NO marks. The dreaded right field has a microscopic (glass needed to see) small line, but is 99.9% superior to what you would find graded. Both sides have a light totally ORIGINAL mix of pale golden brown/lavender colors-they are NOT dull what so ever. Miss Liberty and the details are exceptionally struck and do stand out. The eye appeal is fabulous!
PCGS 33, NGC 24, CAC 10. Prior to this coin, the last one to sell in a major auction brought $4,700.00 08/2012 Heritage. Good luck finding another really SUPERB GEM like this!
