$1 1888S PCGS MS66

On our scale of 1-10 quality (10 being the best), we rank this coin an 11! Yes, it really is that SUPER HIGH END. We did resubmit seeking an MS66+. PCGS should have done that. Oh well.

This coin is ex Coronet Collection-so to be the #1 all time finest ever Morgan set. The name is NOT on the holder.

The obverse has nearly full prooflike mirrors while the reverse is more satiny with a hint of PL. Only a few VERY teenie and scattered ticks can be found. There are NO major problems. A full booming luster shows of the beautiful and totally ORIGINAL silvery white colors. This coin definitely has never been dipped or messed with. Miss Liberty and the details are frosty and have razor sharp strikes her cheek is remarkably clean too. The eye appeal is tremendous!

PCGS 20, NGC 12, CAC 7. The only PCGS/CAC coin we could find that sold in auction was back in 01/2011 Heritage. That coin brought $13,800.00. We will unhesitatingly state this coin is better!
